Episode 1 Partners is a Venture Capital company which was co-founded in 1999 by Simon Murdoch and Richard Tahta, both successful technology entrepreneurs. The company specialises in early stage investments in technology and information services and take an active role in helping to build out the business. In 1999 the company entered a joint venture with Chase Capital Partners and until the end of 2001, managed on behalf of Chase their European early stage Internet and software technology investments through the Chase Episode 1 fund. That fund is no longer making active new investments. Episode 1 now manage funds exclusively dedicated to early stage technology and information services. Episode 1 proactively find the investments in their focus industries and unfortunately cannot consider any unsolicited opportunities.
